The garden tour season has officially started, and today I took a trip over the border to Hudson, Wis., for what is billed as an Artful Garden Tour. The wonderful part about this tour was that whether the gardens featured artists or musicians, the six gardens themselves were carefully crafted works of art. The tour is sponsored by the Hudson Women’s Club and continues Sunday, from 1 to 4 p.m. You get your map and ticket at the Octagon House Museum, a historic home near downtown Hudson. Cost is $12. Check out the photos in this gallery to see some of the gardens on the tour. Click on any image for a larger view.
